Web 2.0 online ‘live’ lesson in closed school.

After the huge success from yesterday’s online lesson for children stuck at home due to the snow I embarked on a better 2nd attempt this afternoon. I still used Coveritlive as I was really impressed with what it offered and its simplicity. I will add meat to this post later tonight but you can reply the session by clicking on the play button below:

Sensational stuff, yet again – hope the photographer got a good photograph! The children take it all in their stride and there is clearly some excellent learning going on!

I was impressed to see so many children participating, especially when you consider that you’re competing with all that wonderful snow!

It just goes to show that if you put technology in the hands of fantastic teachers, schools can stay open despite the adverse weather, albeit virtually.

Congratulations on a great lesson Mr. Mitchell and well done to the children, the real stars of the show!
