Can you help me spread the QuadBlogging bug?

I have been invited to present at the 140Conf (State of Now Conference) in New York on 19th June. this event is MASSIVE and the reason I’m keen to go is that it is streamed to 130,000 people across the US and the world. What better place to talk about QuadBlogging. My dream is to be able to talk to teachers across the globe about tools that will help them get their learners and indeed themselves excited. Once you have excited learners, they will do pretty much anything under your expert guide. However, there is a little problem… funding!

This conference provides the platform, the stage, the audience. It doesn’t pay! So this is where I have had an idea:

I estimate that the cost of the 2 day trip will be about £1200. I’m wondering if 12 companies would put up £100 each to get me there. For your £100, your logo and link will feature on a specially designed QuadBlogging page that I will use to promote QuadBlogging before, during and after the event, I will personally thank you and make reference to you during the presentation too. This is a great opportunity for QuadBlogging to be put onto a truly global stage and it’s an opportunity that although I’m prepared to miss – I’m going to do my damnedest to be there.

If you think you could be interested in helping by way of being one of these 12 sponsors, please get in touch by either commenting (which will be public) or if you prefer to keep things quiet, email me.

WOW – What an initial response Less than 24 hours on and QuadBlogging is half way there! I will update this post as things develop. Here are the companies that have pledged their support so far:

Rising Stars
Classroom Monitor
Hope Education
Editure Education – Suppliers of the DB Primary Learning Platform
Plymouth University

Thanks so much for your support. I will be in touch shortly with further details.

It genuinely is. The other day I was thinking about all the things I’ve been able to take part in due (directly) to being on Twitter. Perhaps I’ll blog it soon. 🙂

Hi David: What a wonderful idea. I’m interested in what conference in NY? Would love to attend. I’m in upstate NY. If you need any examples of quadblogging from US perspective, I have blog pages etc from my 6th grade in NY who blogged with 2 English schools.
