AFL materials that work!

I have been in the very fortunate position of being supported by a great network both at school and wider in the Twitterverse. I have been given so many hint, tips and resources that it’s time that I may be able to give just a little something back.

Targeting writing has long been the thorn in the side of Primary Schools. I was lucky to have been involved in a fantastic AFL training at my last school run by Clive Davies OBE – Focus Education (UK) Ltd. I have been in contact with Clive and he was delighted to hear how useful I found his training and his resources for targeting pupils especially writing. He has given me permission to place these in the public domain for everyone to use!

Clive has developed some target setting materials for every subject in the Primary Curriculum linked to a low sub level and a secure sub level. As a result, this matches up to points progress and I extracted a number of these to create target booklets for individual pupils. Here are some of the materials that I have produced using Clive Davies AFL materials:

Writing Target Booklets:

Key Stage 1:
Level 1 booklet
Level 2 booklet
Level 3 booklet

Key Stage 2:
Level 1 booklet
Level 2 booklet
Level 3 booklet
Level 4 booklet
Level 5 booklet

Here are a couple of examples of AFL target booklets I have made for individual pupils, I have taken the names off:

ChildA
ChildB

If you would like to see the whole Powerpoint that details ALL the points progress breakdown for every subject in the Primary Curriculum, please download this Powerpoint Presentation:
Raising Standards Clive Davies Powerpoint

I want to take this opportunity again to thank Clive Davies – Focus Education (UK) Ltd for his training and generosity in allowing these materials to be published in the public domain. I wish everyone on that field was a generous!

I hope you find the resources as useful as I have!
